Rebuilding a Critical Digital Platform for a National Member Organisation

Challenge

A leading Australasian professional college faced a major digital challenge.

Over time, its member portal had expanded into a dense ecosystem - carrying accreditation systems, continuing education tools, qualification tracking, and learning management for thousands of members across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific.

The result was a fragmented, overloaded environment.

The public-facing website no longer reflected the organisation's stature, and the internal platform struggled under the weight of nearly 100,000 pages, legacy code, and disjointed authentication layers.

The user experience had become inconsistent, and the technology was actively limiting the organisation's ability to serve and scale.

The project required a balance of technical precision and stakeholder management — re-architecting the platform while ensuring continuity for thousands of daily users and high-stakes professional programs.

Approach

Our role was to re-architect the entire digital environment - from structure to function - and lead redevelopment within the existing Kentico system.

We began with a full information audit, mapping how members and administrators actually interacted with the platform: how they accessed learning materials, recorded progress, completed assessments, and engaged across their professional lifecycle.

From there, we rebuilt the information architecture and user experience - simplifying navigation, modernising the interface, and unifying the public website with the secure member portal.

The rebuild reconnected every moving part:

  • Front-end content and brand presentation

  • Back-end authentication and accreditation systems

  • Integrated learning management and video-assessment tools

Outcome

The result was a single, coherent digital platform that matched the organisation's professionalism and purpose.

Members can now access and complete their learning requirements easily.

Administrators can manage and publish content without technical support.

The front end finally reflects the brand's authority, and the system performs with speed and stability.

A once-cluttered and outdated platform has become a modern, scalable foundation - one capable of supporting the organisation's next decade of growth and innovation.
